Following the World Premiere of the New S-Class on 29 January 2026, three new S-Class saloons have set off on a global drive spanning more than 50,000 kilometres across six continents. The journey will visit a symbolic 140 locations, each reflecting a chapter of the brand’s heritage, pioneering spirit and worldwide presence.

From legendary routes and historic milestones to iconic megacities, the convoy is bringing Mercedes-Benz innovation to life on every continent. Along the way, the new S-Class is joined by classic vehicles, current production models and local fleet cars, creating unique encounters at every checkpoint. 

The journey offers memorable in-person moments for customers, Mercedes-Benz Club members and fans – from spontaneous meetups to exclusive stories and showcases. Local celebrations and community highlights continue to shape the journey as it unfolds. 

In the first stage, the journey started in Stuttgart and went across Europe – including through Switzerland, France, Spain and Belgium. In South America, the convoy visited Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. After that, the drive went on to North America. 
The global drive will conclude in Stuttgart in October– where the Mercedes-Benz story began.

Oceania Cruises^® has unveiled the inaugural sailings for Oceania Aurelia, set to debut in late 2027, which include the launch of two epic 180-day Around the World voyages for 2028 and 2029 and two Grand Voyages of more than 70 days each.

2028 Around the World Voyage: 180 days, Miami to New York, departing January 18, 2028

Passage through the Panama Canal and across the Pacific to Asia and Beyond

After the glittering Christening ceremony, this extraordinary voyage departs Miami and begins passage through the iconic Panama Canal to the Pacific coast, followed by visits to the Hawaiian Islands and more than two weeks discovering the exotic isles and atolls of French Polynesia and the South Pacific. Next is an Australian exploration, including an overnight stay in Sydney. The journey continues along the shores of Southeast Asia, exploring Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand, and nearly two weeks tracing the coastline of Japan. 2029 Around the World Voyage: 180 days, Los Angeles to New York, departing January 6, 2029

Pacific coastal exploration of the Americas, including Easter Island and Peru with access to Machu Picchu

The 2029 180‑day circumnavigation traces the Pacific coast of the Americas, from Central America to Ecuador, Peru and Chile, with the opportunity to explore the legendary Inca site of Machu Picchu. The journey then ventures deep into the South Pacific, calling at remote Easter Island before more than two weeks exploring French Polynesia and the radiant isles of the South Pacific. An immersive three‑week exploration of New Zealand and Australia follows. The voyage then continues through Southeast Asia – Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand – before sailing on to Sri Lanka, the Maldives, India and the Arabian Peninsula. Crystal, the leader in exceptional cruise experiences, announced a first look at the itineraries for Summer and Fall 2028, highlighted by the inaugural season of Crystal Grace along with inspiring new voyages for Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity, including several combination sailings and an impeccably curated Grand Journey. The sailings span the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Arctic, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and the Caribbean. 

Crystal Grace

Crystal Grace will make her official debut on June 11, 2028, in Civitavecchia (Rome) with an inaugural voyage that visits Sorrento, Igoumenitsa, Kotor, Split, Zadar and Trieste before continuing to Venice launching a Mediterranean season that explores Southern Europe’s historic coastlines and cultural capitals. Throughout the summer, the ship will operate voyages across Italy, Croatia, Greece, France and Spain, with stops in Valencia and Monte Carlo. The ship will be christened during an overnight stay in Monte Carlo during the July 8, voyage that departs from Barcelona. Guests will also have the opportunity to combine select sailings into five extended journeys, including two 34-night itineraries thoughtfully designed with no repeating ports.

In September, Crystal Grace sails west from Lisbon via the Azores to Halifax and New York, beginning a series of fall voyages in New England and Eastern Canada, including Quebec City, and Charlottetown. November itineraries include Bermuda and Caribbean departures from Fort Lauderdale, with calls in Antigua, St. Lucia, Aruba and Barbados.

Crystal Symphony

Following the 2028 World Cruise, Treasures of the Tides, Crystal Symphony begins summer operations in the Americas departing June 10, from Fort Lauderdale, with a Panama Canal transit and calls in Cartagena, Puerto Caldera, San Juan del Sur and Puerto Vallarta before sailing along the California coast to San Diego and San Francisco.

The ship then spends the peak summer months in Alaska and British Columbia featuring multiple departures from Vancouver and Seward with calls including Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, Sitka, Wrangell and scenic cruising along the famed Hubbard Glacier. The season also includes two combination voyages. In late September, the ship crosses the International Date Line to Japan, beginning a series of voyages throughout Japan and South Korea with ports including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagasaki, Busan and Kanazawa.

Crystal Serenity

Crystal Serenity begins her summer season in Europe on May 5, sailing from the Iberian Peninsula into the Mediterranean with calls including Cádiz, Valencia, Monte Carlo, Livorno, Civitavecchia, Valletta and Piraeus. She will then head north to the British Isles, Norway sailing a Grand Journey above the Arctic Circle to Honningsvag, before continuing to Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands, with consecutive calls in Reykjavik, Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm with two combination cruises available. Late summer and early fall voyages trace Northern Europe’s historic ports before the ship returns south through Western Europe and the Mediterranean with calls in La Goulette, Cagliari, Ajaccio, Marseille, Palamós and Barcelona. The season concludes with a transatlantic crossing and additional sailings in warmer climates.

“With this product upgrade, the Audi Q4 e-tron is not only more modern and striking in appearance but also impresses with an improved interior,” says Marco Schubert, Member of the Board of Management for Sales and Marketing. “New features and numerous improvements to the vehicle make the electric entry point into the Audi brand even more attractive – for families and our fleet customers.

The Q4 e-tron is the first Audi model to support bidirectional charging – its high-voltage battery can both receive energy from the grid and feed it back to external devices. For example, the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function allows e-bikes to be charged from a power socket in the trunk or via an adapter on the charging port. In Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the Q4 e-tron can also serve as a home battery supplying stored energy to the household through Vehicle-to-Home (V2H). This is especially beneficial for optimising self-consumption from solar panels.

In everyday life, customers reap the benefits of significant upgrades to the EV’s drive systems. Thanks to an even more efficient electric motor, for example, the enhanced Q4 Sportback e-tron performance now offers up to 592 kilometres of range.

A leap in comfort and flexibility awaits customers in the all-new interior, which is also optionally available in the S line. The heart of the spacious cabin is the digital stage: a panoramic display with an 11.9″ instrument cluster and a 12.8″ MMI touch display keeps everything in clear view. An optional 12″ passenger display with a customisable standby design completes the setup. With new One Connected Infotainment, Audi is enhancing comfort and entertainment functions. The intelligent Audi assistant controls vehicle functions via voice command and can answer questions about the logbook. Thanks to ChatGPT integration, occupants can query information and interact naturally with the car. Comfort and ambiance are further enhanced by dynamic interaction lighting, a new centre console, and two cooled inductive charging trays, each with 15 watts of power. The Softwrap, with its large application area spanning from the doors across the entire width of the dashboard, creates a cohesive, premium sense of space. Vertical air vents accentuate the width of the cockpit.

Audi has also taken the lighting to the next level: up front, digital LED daytime running lights with segmented technology create digital light signatures for instant recognition, selectable through the MMI. Second-generation digital OLED rear lights significantly improve safety and functionality while also making a bold design statement. In addition, the optional proximity lighting warns other road users when they get too close.

Even more efficient drive

Whether rear-wheel drive or quattro all-wheel, all Audi Q4 e-tron models feature a permanently excited synchronous motor (PSM) in one of two power variants on the rear axle, ensuring high efficiency. The new “APP350” electric motor incorporates a number of efficiency-enhancing measures and thus ensures increased range and more torque in the Q4 e-tron and Q4 e-tron quattro.

The update to the electric motor also introduces newly developed power electronics. The pulse inverter uses silicon carbide semiconductors, which reduce switching losses and improve efficiency, especially under partial load. In addition, new software functions optimize consumption. Advanced modulation techniques better leverage DC voltage for more power even at lower charge levels. Overall, efficiency has improved by around ten percent versus the previous model.

The transmission is also more efficient. Newly engineered low-viscosity lubricant reduces friction losses while remaining highly resilient. Especially in cold weather, this new lubricant alone can extend range by up to twelve kilometres with a fully charged battery.

Dynamic and cohesive: the exterior

On the outside, the Q4 e-tron* now looks more modern and expressive: short front overhangs, large wheels, a broad stance, and muscular side panels create dynamic proportions. The centrepiece of its high, upright front is the Singleframe, now colour-matched to the body. The S line variant adds vertical blades in Selenite silver matte to the corners of the front and rear bumpers. In conjunction with the black exterior package, the blades are finished in high-gloss
Mythos black.

In addition, functional air intakes reduce drag by channelling airflow around the front wheels. Special wing elements in the bumper accentuate width and create a fully cohesive look.

On the Q4 SUV e-tron, a roof edge spoiler caps the D pillar. A black accent strip running the length of the roof visually separates the rear roof from the body, giving the impression it’s floating – a detail that further underscores the car’s dynamic presence. Horizontal lines at the rear amplify its visual width, making it look higher and more upright. A newly contoured rear spoiler makes the SUV more aerodynamic, and a redesigned, high-set diffuser adds a sporty finish. Three new exterior colours and five new wheel designs are available for customisation.

Practical and spacious: the interior

At the heart of the cabin is the driver-oriented digital stage. Its centrepiece is the panoramic display, pairing an 11.9″ instrument cluster and a 12.8″ MMI touch display with large tiles for a quick overview of features and services. For the first time in this segment, an optional 12″ passenger display is also available – the largest ever in an Audi, featuring a customisable standby design. Without the passenger display, premium decorative surfaces enhance the appearance of this area. For even more intuitive orientation, the Q4 e-tron* can be equipped with an optional augmented reality head-up display. This projects information onto the windshield in two layers: in the AR layer, turn arrows from the navigation system, starting points and destinations, and prompts from selected assist systems appear in the appropriate position on top of the real environment. These elements look like they’re floating around 10 meters ahead of the driver, or further depending on the situation. From the driver’s perspective, the field of view for AR content spans a diagonal of approximately 70 inches. Below this, the status layer shows speed, traffic signs, and assistance and navigation icons, visually placed around three meters ahead of the driver.

The clearly structured dashboard amplifies the sense of space. Vertical air vents frame the dash and visually link to the low-profile, integrated door handles. There are four easily accessible charging options for smartphones: two cooled inductive charging trays (up to 15 watts each) and two USB-C ports under the centre armrest. Two additional USB-C ports are optionally available in the rear.

When it comes to space, the Q4 e-tron delivers what used to be reserved for full-size SUVs: airy up front, plenty of legroom in the back – made possible by the technical basis designed as an electric platform. In total, the model offers around 25 litres of storage in various compartments. Everyday utility is underscored by the 515-liter trunk (up to 1,487 litres with the rear seats folded down) and increased trailer load of 1,800 kilograms. The nose weight is 75 kilograms.

Details such as cushioned knee pads, premium stitching, and scratch-resistant surfaces further enhance the interior. The rising centre console seamlessly connects the dashboard to the rear seats and creates a sporty character. The optional plus and pro ambient lighting packages set the mood after dark. White ambient lighting comes as standard. Marker lights accentuate the lines of the dash and centre console. Optionally, dynamic interaction lighting below the windshield enhances the atmosphere and improves usability and safety. A Sonos premium sound system is also available. Sport seats come as standard. Third-party apps are accessible directly through the Audi Application Store in the MMI – no smartphone required. Many vehicle functions can be controlled via the intelligent Audi assistant: the AI-powered voice assistant is fully integrated into the car and represented by an icon in the head-up display or the Audi virtual cockpit. Recognised inputs are also shown in the instrument display. The Audi Q4 e-tron infotainment system is based on Android Automotive OS.

The LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Lumen” incorporates two grand complications into the unmistakeable design of the LANGE 1: a tourbillon with stop seconds as well as a perpetual calendar with a peripheral month ring and instantaneously switching displays. All indications are also legible in the dark. Thanks to the effective staging of larger and more subtle luminous elements, the watch is endowed with a radiant elegance. The newly developed, highly complex manufacture calibre L225.1 can be admired through the dial and caseback of the timepiece.

Unmistakeable – by day and by night

In a refined manner, the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Lumen” incorporates a tourbillon and a perpetual calendar into the unmistakeable design of the LANGE 1, whose off-centre dial configuration is prominent yet at the same time harmonious. The displays are arranged in the form of an isosceles triangle: an imaginary vertical line connects outsize date, retrograde day-of-week display as well as the seconds hand and the moon-phase display. The centre of the hour and minute display marks the tip of the triangle. Contrary to conventional constructions, the months are displayed on a rotating circumferential ring. The leap-year display is located in a small aperture at 6 o’clock. 

All calendar indications switch instantaneously to produce unambiguous readings at all times. The switching sequences can be conveniently handled jointly or separately with correctors on the exterior of the case. Assuming the watch runs without interruption, the calendar indications must be corrected by hand for the first time on 1 March in 2100, a secular year.

Contrast and transparency

Apart from its remarkable geometry, the design language of the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Lumen” is based on two additional superordinate principles: contrast and transparency. Hence, the light-coloured, gleaming platinum case contrasts crisply with the dark dial and the black, hand-stitched alligator leather strap. On the dial, hands and appliques in rhodiumed gold and white scales against a dark background assure superb legibility. The principle of contrast is reiterated in the movement where polished light surfaces alternate with matted or darker ones. 

Simultaneously, the transparency of the dial constitutes a constructive necessity. It allows the passage of energy-rich UV light that continuously charges the luminous compound of the underlying displays and causes them to glow in the dark. The exceptional dial and the luminous elements make this timepiece into a shining example of Lange watchmaking artistry ‒ by day and by night.

Luminescence – new elegance

All displays of the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Lumen” are luminous and therefore also provide unambiguous readings in the dark. The meticulously orchestrated interplay of larger and more filigreed surfaces creates an elegant, nuanced ambience of light. The implementation of each individual “Lumen”-display is based on an innovative, complex dial architecture. 

The radiant highlight, the luminous outsize date, makes the sophisticated mechanism consisting of a tens cross and a units disc visible in the dark. Moreover, the first luminous moon-phase display with an integrated day/night indication premieres in this watch. A celestial disc that rotates clockwise once during 24 hours forms the backdrop for the lunar orbit. During the day, a light sky without stars can be perceived ‒ at night, a dark sky studded with a multitude of luminous stars. In front of the celestial disc, the precise waxing and waning of the earth’s companion can be observed while it slowly traverses the sky. The display deviates from the true position of the moon by only one day after 122.6 years.

The leap-year display at 6 o’clock is also coated with a luminous compound, resulting in the same pronounced two-dimensional intensity of the outsize date. The hands indicating the hours, minutes, seconds and day of the week, as well as all scales, appliques and contours of the moon, are significantly more delicate in terms of their luminescence.

Artisanal virtuosity made visible

Thanks to the semi-transparent dial, the movement with its complex calendar mechanism and cornucopia of meticulously finished individual parts can be admired. For instance, the large plates decorated with perlage, the bridges with artistic solarisation, the levers adorned with precise straight graining as well as the toothed wheels embellished with circular graining can be appreciated close-up. Together with the chamfered edges, they are testament to the high standards with regard to artisanal finish. Additionally, the colour palette of the materials deployed provides aesthetic accents.

Tourbillon – beyond precision

On the dial side, only a subtle inscription at 12 o’clock offers a clue as to which grand complication lies concealed within the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Lumen”: the tourbillon. Only at a glance through the sapphire-crystal caseback, the refined mechanism is revealed in all its technical splendour. Once a minute, the filigreed carriage rotates about its own axis, thus compensating for the influence of gravity on the balance with eccentric poising weights. Combined with the balance spring crafted in-house, it guarantees the ultimate precision. Both components are perfectly matched and assure superior rate accuracy of the movement that operates at a frequency of 21.600 semi-oscillations per hour.

The stop-seconds device allows to immediately halt the balance within the tourbillon cage at will by pulling the crown. This makes it possible to set a tourbillon watch with one-second accuracy, thanks to a sophisticated construction with a V-shaped arresting spring for which the manufacture was granted a patent in 2008.

Extreme complexity – peerless finish

Down to the last detail, the new self-winding manufacture calibre L225.1 was developed in accordance with the highest standards to which A. Lange & Söhne is committed. Its constructive complexity makes it possible to unite a tourbillon, perpetual calendar and a moon-phase display – and to furthermore equip the watch with functional particularities such as a stop-seconds mechanism and the outsize date. The refined composition of lavish decorations emphasises the manufacturer’s quest for perfection.

The artisanal virtuosity manifests itself especially in the tourbillon cage as well as the tourbillon cock and the intermediate-wheel cock. They are crafted from stainless steel and exhibit one of the most elaborate finishing techniques: black polish. This technique involves using special abrasive pastes and uniformly sliding the workpiece with just the right pressure across a tin plate by hand until the surface reflects the light like a mirror when viewed from a certain angle. And from another perspective, it has a jet-black sheen. All the edges are chamfered and polished. One of the greatest challenges is finishing the internal angles: this requires extreme meticulousness and a steady hand.

A central rotor, crafted from 18-carat white gold (750) for the first time, bears the A. Lange & Söhne signature and assures efficient winding. The external centrifugal mass in 950 platinum provides additional momentum, making a maximum power reserve of 50 hours available after only a short time on the wrist. The rotor also adopts the design principle of colour contrast, implemented in the dark, black-rhodiumed central segment and the lighter surface of the centrifugal mass.

Furthermore, the tourbillon cock and the intermediate-wheel cock are embellished with small stars and a shooting star. They are engraved by hand and then circumspectly polished, creating a richly contrasting transition between the matted surroundings and the gleaming engravings. In the centre of the tourbillon, a diamond endstone secured by a screwed gold chaton provides another striking focal point. The traditional element that A. Lange & Söhne once equipped the most precious 1A-quality pocket watches with represents the lustrous highlight of this precision mechanical masterpiece.

With a case diameter of 41.9 millimetres and a height of 13.0 millimetres, the LANGE 1 TOURBILLON PERPETUAL CALENDAR “Lumen” is worn on a black alligator leather strap with a deployant quick-lock buckle in 950 platinum. 

One Bangkok, the global lifestyle destination in the heart of Bangkok, successfully hosted its “Summer Oneder 2026” campaign, offering thrilling travel, dining and shopping experiences. The key highlight was “One Bangkok Sunsational Songkran Festival”, reigniting the rhythm of life amidst cascading waters and vibrant flora. The city’s core was transformed into an immersive summer water park, blending the exhilaration of water, vivid colours, art, culture and captivating music. Guests enjoyed an array of enticing summer promotions and live concerts featuring over 57 of Thailand’s leading artists, performing across six consecutive days, from 10 to 15 April 2026. The event commenced with a spectacular opening performance, “THE AWAKENING OF WATER”, portraying water as more than a source of joy, but as a vital force of life, the driving energy of the city and a symbol of renewal.

The One Bangkok Sunsational Songkran Festival encouraged visitors to immerse themselves in the rhythm of life, expressed through three core themes: Movement, symbolising the vibrant flow of water and diverse flora; Floral Expressions, representing the sustainable growth of our ecosystem and natural beauty; and Vibrant Energy, the luminous power that connects people through a curated selection of activities.

Refreshing Highlights and Activities Spanning Six Full Days:

The Sunsational Paradise at One Bangkok Park – A sprawling, vibrant water park designed for every family member to create unforgettable memories. The event featured several zones, including:

• Installation: A magnificent installation of oversized, luminous flowers, enhanced by lighting that synchronised with the rhythm of water, a definitive festival highlight.
• The Summer Rain Tunnel: A mist tunnel nestled amidst lush greenery, designed to interact with human movement, offering perfect refreshment without getting drenched and serving as an unmissable photo opportunity.
• The Whimsical Water Park: A city-centre water playground, featuring “Little Bloom” for toddlers and “Sunshine Wave” for children up to 12 years old. All areas were managed under strict water quality and safety controls, with convenient showers and changing facilities provided.
• Sunset Grove: A tranquil poolside area, offering comfortable sun loungers and remote-controlled boats for playful enjoyment in the pool.
• Sunset Social Club: A chic and vibrant lounge zone, providing a stylish party atmosphere complete with refreshing beverages and delectable snacks.
• Summer Sound Stage – Everyone was immersed in spectacular concerts featuring numerous celebrated artists on stage throughout the six days

Engage in Art, Culture, and Creative Workshops at The Storeys Square:

• Summer Craft Studios: A vibrant hub of creativity, featuring a performance stage, a photobooth where guests were able to design mini CD album cover keychains using their photos, and a series of exciting workshops such as crafting vibrant paper flower bouquets, personalising favourite inhaler bottles with charming stickers and adornments, or painting bright, imaginative fans. Additionally, everyone could capture lasting memories dressed in traditional Thai costumes at the Vintage Photo Studio by Chaya Nitikorn.
• Visitors enjoyed live performances from “Troops” in enchanting floral costumes and live music from famous artists.
• Guests also discovered the “Floral Blessing Garden”, a serene spot for traditional Buddha bathing, intended to bring good fortune, was available at the Activation Zone, G Floor, The Storeys, throughout the festival.

The Thailand International Boat Show A Luxury Lifestyle Event has secured a strategic investment from Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, marking a long-term commitment to grow the show in Thailand and strengthen its position as a leading platform for the yachting industry in Asia Pacific.

This new collaboration reflects a shared vision for Phuket Yacht Haven Marina — the largest marina in Phuket — to be the long-term home of the Thailand International Boat Show, leveraging its scale and capacity both in the water and on land.

With more than 330 berths, including capacity for superyachts up to 100 metres, the marina is uniquely positioned to support the show’s ambition to increase both the size and number of yachts on display. At the same time, Phuket Yacht Haven Marina is advancing plans to expand and enhance its onshore facilities, including additional lifestyle amenities, dining options, upgrades to The Deck, and new experiential offerings — all designed to elevate the overall marina experience and well-aligned with the show organisers’ ambition to deliver a more immersive visitor experience.

For the first time, Porsche is introducing a 911 GT3 with a fully automatic convertible roof. The 911 GT3 S/C, designed especially with driving pleasure in mind, combines the lightweight design of the 911 S/T with the naturally aspirated 4.0-litre boxer engine of the 911 GT3, producing 375 kW (510 PS) and 450 Nm of torque. The distinctive wings and doors of the 911 S/T in combination with the black windscreen surround give the new 911 GT3 S/C an unmistakable look.

In line with its positioning as a driver’s car, this special model is available exclusively with a lightweight short-ratio six-speed manual sports transmission. The 911 GT3 S/C is the only open-top variant in the current 911 range that is designed as a pure two-seater – reminiscent of the 911 Speedster from 2019. Unlike the Speedster, however, the 911 GT3 S/C is not a limited-edition model. The new Street Style Package is also available for the 911 GT3 S/C, which allows the vehicle to be tailored even more precisely to individual tastes.

According to Frank Moser, Head of the 911 and 718 model series, the new 911 GT3 S/C caters to customers’ demand for sports cars that are particularly focused on driving pleasure: “The emotive powertrain of the 911 GT3 comes into its own even more emphatically when driving with the roof down on winding country roads. This is particularly down to managing to keep the weight of the 911 GT3 S/C down to just 1,497 kilograms, despite the fully automatic soft top. That is only about 30 kg more than the 991-generation 911 Speedster.”

Thorough lightweight design for maximum driving pleasure

The combination of particularly lightweight and high-quality materials ensures that the 911 GT3 S/C shines with the characteristic agility of Porsche GT models. The lightweight body components carried over from the 911 S/T are recognisable, even at first glance. The bonnet, wings and doors are made of carbon fibre. The carbon-fibre anti-roll bars and shear plate are also carried over from the fixed-head 911 S/T. The brakes and wheels also follow the S/T lightweight formula: the PCCB braking system, which is more than 20 kg lighter than the cast iron brakes, is fitted as standard. The centre-lock wheels, measuring 20 inches in diameter on the front axle and 21 inches at the rear, also from the 911 S/T, are made of lightweight magnesium. This saves around nine kilograms of rotating mass. Magnesium is also used in the fully automatic cabriolet roof of the 911 GT3 S/C. A lightweight and compact 40 Ah lithium-ion battery further contributes to the car’s impressively low weight, saving about four kg compared to a conventional battery.

Sporty and elegant interior

The interior features lightweight carpets and lightweight door panels with carbon-fibre pull handles – further design features carried over from the 911 S/T. The 911 GT3 S/C is built as a two-seater, with four-way adjustable Sports Seats Plus fitted as standard. Lightweight sports bucket seats with folding backrests and seat shells made of carbon fibre are optionally available for the 911 GT3 S/C. The folding bucket seat is equipped with an integrated thorax airbag, electric height adjustment and manual longitudinal adjustment. Three-stage seat heating can also be ordered as an option. The interior is upholstered in black leather as standard – including the sun visors and the A-pillar trim. The GT3 S/C logo is embroidered in the centre of the rear bulkhead trim. The seat centre panels are finished in perforated leather.

As with the 911 S/T, the steering wheel is also upholstered in perforated leather. Just like the current fixed-head 911 GT3, the 911 GT3 S/C is started not with the push of a button but with a rotary ignition switch to the left of the steering wheel. The digital instrument cluster supports the driver with a clearly structured display and operating concept. The ‘Track Screen’ display mode reduces the digital displays on the left and right of the rev counter to essential data on tyres, oil, coolant and fuel. Shift lights on the left and right of the rev counter indicate the optimal moment to change gear. If desired, the display can be rotated so that the rev limit of 9,000 rpm is positioned at the 12 o’clock mark.

Magnesium ribs in fully automatic cabriolet top

Because the 911 GT3 S/C, unlike its 911 Speedster ancestor, is not adorned with a double-bubble rear cover, the fully automatic lightweight roof from the current 911 model series could be installed instead of a manual soft top. Thanks to the innovative use of magnesium ribs, a coupé-like roofline is achieved when the fabric roof is in its closed position. With almost identical contours, the fabric roof stretches in an elegant arc from windscreen frame to roof stowage compartment lid. No structural elements are visible beneath the fabric, nor are there any sections that interrupt the flowing design of the characteristic 911 flyline. This also brings aerodynamic advantages.

Unmistakable appearance

Matching the black roof, the windscreen frame is finished in black film, giving the 911 GT3 S/C its distinctive look, and the stone-chip protection film on the side panel features a matt-black finish. The matrix LED headlights combine all front lighting functions, making it possible to omit the additional light units previously found in the front bumper. This allows for a significantly larger area for the air intake – and a more clearly structured appearance. For the first time on a 911 with a convertible roof, the retractable rear spoiler is adorned with a Gurney flap, as found on the 911 S/T and the 911 GT3 with Touring Package. The front spoiler lip and rear diffuser are carried over from the current 911 GT3.

Street Style Package for a distinctive visual identity

Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur offers the optional Street Style Package for the new 911 GT3 S/C. The eye-catching decorative graphics on the front wings and the ‘PORSCHE’ lettering on the sides of the vehicle are in the colour Pyro Red.

At the front, the tinted HD-Matrix headlights and body-coloured airblades provide striking accents.

Inside, the Adaptive Sports Seats Plus catch the eye with an embroidered outline of the Porsche crest. The seat centre panels are upholstered in four-tone braided leather in Slate Grey, Guards Red, Magnesium Grey and Kalahari. This intricately produced material is also found in the glove box. In addition, the interior is almost completely upholstered with two-tone leather in Slate Grey and Guards Red. The contrasting decorative stitching, door handle loops, seat handles and seatbelts are also all finished in Guards Red. The steering column trim, the seat console, the inner sill trim and the fuse box cover are trimmed in leather – as are the air vents, including the slats. The floor mats also feature leather edging. The sun visors, interior mirror console and windscreen frame, as well as the convertible roof headliner, are upholstered in perforated Slate Grey Race-Tex.

A special visual and tactile highlight is the darkened gear lever with its open-pore laminated wood gear knob and shift pattern displayed in Pyro Red. The ‘GT3 S/C’ badge beneath the gear lever, the accent strips in the dash panel and the ‘911’ badge fitted on the passenger side are also finished in Pyro Red. In addition, Porsche Design offers accessories that complement the Street Style Package.

Rooted in ancient traditions of cleansing and respect, the ‘Songkran’ Thai New Year marks a natural pause for both physical and emotional recalibration. As the Kingdom prepares to welcome the new season, Chiva-Som Hua Hin invites guests to experience Songkran as more than a celebration, reframing it as a meaningful journey of renewal, reflection and holistic wellbeing.

Designed as a seamless eight-day experience from 11th to 18th April, the Songkran programme encouraged guests to reconnect with themselves, with nature, and with the country’s rich cultural heritage. Each experience reflected Chiva-Som’s integrative philosophy—harmonising modern science with traditional wisdom to inspire lasting vitality.

Throughout the week, a continuous flow of daily experiences harmonised wellness, culture and sustainability, offering a purposeful Thai way to welcome the year ahead with bespoke seasonal invitations.

Wellness: Restoring Balance from Within

At the core of the programme was a focus on restoring balance; physically, mentally and emotionally. Guests engaged in expert-led sessions to explore themes of longevity, and emotional clarity, complemented by practices such as Sound Healing, Anapanasati Meditation, After sun soothing with cucumber slices at Water Therapy Suite, Nature Mandala activity, Talk Classes on Modern Science for a Longer, Healthier Life and The Science of Hydration and Health, Emotional Intelligence Journey, A Time for Emotional Clarity, a Mindful Mini Garden Workshop; and many more.

Additionally, guests enjoyed activities inspired by Thai traditions, including Muay Thai, Thai Classical Dance with Physiotherapy team and a DIY Crystal Aroma Roller Workshop.

Rituals Rooted in Meaning

Songkran at Chiva-Som Hua Hin is deeply rooted in cultural authenticity, offering guests the opportunity to experience Thailand’s rich traditions with quiet reverence. Cultural workshops in garland making and lotus folding invite moments of mindful creativity.

On 13th April, the Thai New Year began with morning alms-giving, followed by the seasonal delicacy Khao Chae. Afternoon cultural activities unfolded with a graceful water parade inspired by Nang Songkran, the Songkran Goddess, symbolising auspicious beginnings and renewal. The celebrations continued with the Song Nam Phra ritual of bathing Buddha images to represent purification, and the Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony, where scented water is gently poured over the hands of elders to receive their blessing.

The day concluded with an elegant evening BBQ dinner featuring performances of classical Thai dance and Khon theatre.

Engage with Sustainability & Community

Wellbeing at Chiva-Som is intrinsically linked to the health of the environment and the vitality of its community. Guests were invited to share in meaningful moments that support the local ecosystem, from exploring the craftsmanship of the Baan Khao Tao weaving community at the resort’s Orchid Lounge to participating in workshops using locally sourced, natural materials to paint their own woven agave purse and palm leaf fan.

Beyond the resort, experiences such as mangrove explorations and blue crab releases highlighted the importance of conservation, offering a mindful way to give back to Hua Hin’s natural surroundings.
